About this site

This website documents railway border crossings, i.e. places where a railway crosses an international border.

Which border crossings are included on this site?

Currently, all railway border crossings are included that cross current international borders. In the future, railways that crossed borders that no longer exist may be included as well.

Borders may change, be disputed or even the bordering countries may not be recognized by all countries. This site does not take a position on these issues and simply documents the crossings as accurately as possible based on the available data.

Why are there so few photos included?

Only photos are included that are in the public domain, which are allowed to use by the relevant Creative Commons license or for which permission has been obtained from the copyright holder. If you have photos of railway border crossings that you would like to share, please contact the administrator.

Does this site use AI?

No, the site does not make use of AI. Both the programming work and the research and content are entirely manual, without any use of artificial intelligence.

Where can I contact you with questions and suggestions?

You can always send an email to the administrator.
